Kevin Hasselberg

Kevin Hasselberg has been with the Olds Grizzlys for the past 7 seasons. He spent three as an assistant Coach and one as Coach and Director of Player Recruiting. The 2007/2008 season will be his third season behind the bench as the Head Coach. This will be Kevin’s eleventh year in the coaching ranks after completing sixteen years as a player. Kevin was part of the successful teams in Fort McMurray from the 94 season to the 97 season where he was able to enjoy two appearances in the AJHL finals and was part of the winning team that captured Fort McMurray’s first Provincial title in the team’s existence. Kevin has been a part of the Alberta Program of Excellence for the past 5 years and currently has completed his advanced level 1 certification. Away from hockey, he holds certification as a Heavy Equipment Technician and spends his spare time working at Greenline on John Deere Equipment. |

Kyle Tapp
Assistant Coach

Kyle comes to the Grizzlys from Calgary, where he spent several years coaching minor hockey and is an Intermediate Level Certified coach. Kyle has spent the past three years coaching in a professional capacity, working one on one with players from all levels on skill development, motivation and game specific training. He has also focused his energy on coaching mentorship programs and team building strategies. Kyle spent his junior hockey career playing in the BCHL before moving to Alberta. |
